Hmmm, this is my first time blogging, before this I really never thought of starting a blog although all my friends around are bloggers. Well to be honest I blog because it is part of my assignment. Last week 12 of Jan our dearest Technology lecturer required us to create a blog …so I am forced to do it…nevertheless my greatest Technology lecturer had created a blog - ec2006technology.blogspot.com for us…making it easier for us to gather information, how great she is.. muahahha….
ECE 2006 – Technology for young children…Saturday( 19jan) was my second lecture class…and I found out the technology nowadays is giving different kind of benefit and risk.…especially-computers…children nowadays spend most of their time facing the computer, playing online games, or even surfing the net to join different types of clubs… But of course that are ads and disadvantages when using the computer, children will be able to gather lots of information that they want to know, and certainly improving their language skills. While playing games children are able to foster their attention and spatial skill……..woo…that’s a lot benefit for the children using the computer…but also not to forget the risks… when a child used the computer for a long term period, he will become antisocial, affecting their visual and posture, pulling down his writing skill because they are so used to typing using the keyboard rather then writing with pen etc…to overcome this, parents play an very important role, by setting a golden rule for the children…tell them the impact and let the children understand it themselves…but some parents doesn’t bother as long as they keep quiet without disturbing them would be a great peaceful thing for the parents…..This misconception that will cause more problems to the children…the problems will only be increasing as time goes by if the parents take this matter for granted…How important PARENT is…
